Hi friends! 💛

We absolutely LOVE how much you all enjoy seeing the alpacas—it truly means so much to us!

However, we want to kindly remind everyone that Shady Rest Alpacas is a private residence and working farm, and visits are by appointment only.

Recently, we’ve had cars stopping in the middle of our narrow road, which can be unsafe, as well as people approaching the fence, feeding, and even throwing things toward the animals. This is not only dangerous for our alpacas, but also for you and others on the road.

For the safety and well-being of our animals (and our family), we kindly ask:
• Please do not stop in the road
• Please do not approach or feed the alpacas without a scheduled visit
• Please respect that this is our home

If you’d love to meet the alpacas (and we’d love to have you!), we offer private, up-close experiences that can be booked by DM or by calling 904-651-1448 🦙
