We had the privilege of partnering with The Florida Ballet this summer, working with their Boys/Men’s Summer Intensive participants! This powerhouse crew of young athletes powered through strength and conditioning sessions that were tailored to enhance their ballet technique and overall performance. 🩰🔥

From developing explosive power to improving flexibility, we helped these dancers build the strength they need to excel in their craft. Plus, we added in nutrition coaching to keep them fueled for success throughout their intense training. 🌱🏋️‍♂️

I can’t wait to see where their passion and dedication take them!

From boutique studios in New York to garages in Chicago to a purpose-built studio in Jacksonville — this journey has been anything but boring.
What started as a calling has grown into a brand, a community, and a movement.
Now, we’re taking everything we’ve built and scaling it into something even bigger: Jeff’s Gym UNLIMITED.
A 24/7 facility that carries the same standard of care, coaching, and results — just… well, UNLIMITED.
But we can’t do it alone.
We’re 29% to our goal with only 3 days left to join us, support the build, and be part of the next chapter.

When I stepped back and saw the finished studio, I knew we had built something special.
Two refined, purpose-built rooms designed for results, focus, and care.
Every finish, every piece of equipment, every inch of space was chosen with intention.
This is where the Jeff Effect became a place — a premium private studio serving Avondale, Ortega, Riverside, and Murray Hill.

Pro tip: If the instructions say “easy assembly,” they’re lying.
I spent three days trying to make a squat rack stand up straight.
And another day realizing I built one backwards.
There was blood. There was sweat. There may have been a few very polite curse words.
But piece by piece, it came together.
And now?
This equipment isn’t just functional—it’s personal.
Because when you build it yourself, you don’t just assemble a gym. You build buy-in.
And now? The Jeff Effect is growing.
The next gym—UNLIMITED—will be built by a team. But it’ll carry the same care that built this first space.

I had a tiny renovation budget.
Like... “friends-with-tools” tiny. (and I am forever grateful to those few friends)
I hired a small crew to help with painting and plumbing—but everything else?
That was me.
Flooring? Me.
Trim? Me and a buddy
Ceiling? Me and two buddies.
Sore back, paint in my hair, glue on my shoes… still me.
It wasn’t glamorous, but it was mine.
And when you walk into that sleek little studio now, just know—it started with two bare rooms and a lot of hands-and-knees hard work.

There comes a time in every trainer’s life when you realize…

You’ve been kicked out of too many driveways. 😅

So I started hunting for a space. And let me tell you—finding a place that’s affordable, zoned correctly, and has enough outlets for battle ropes?

That’s cardio.

Eventually, I landed on a humble two-room spot that felt like it had potential.
Did it have great lighting? No.
Did it have mysterious smells? Absolutely.
But I saw what it could become.
So I signed that lease—with slightly shaky hands—and got to work.
