Mom has been gone now a few years, and I'm still finding it hard to believe. She loved working on Good Eats Jax and going all over the region to meet people and try new places for the books and social media. It was a labor of love, and I continue this work to promote the local and independent food scene in her memory.

I had a celebratory lunch at the incredible today and got to meet owner, Curtis. His father and grandfather owned two of my other longtime favorites, Cedar River and Sam's St. John's, and this place does his family proud. Highly recommended!

My first visit to based on recommendation from was a great surprise. This comfortable space near the Baymeadows Road and Gate Parkway intersection is fantastic. The bagel sandwich was incredible too.

Thank you, Sam for an incredible Strawberry Nutella Crepe and Americano! This amazing crepe stand in The Avenues Mall is as good as any I had in Europe, and it is locally owned by the same family who has in Mandarin, which I also highly recommend. I look forward to coming back here again soon for a savory crepe.

Loved finding in Mayport and meeting Kelsey who was enjoying her first day of having in this charming space. The sandwich was one of the best I've ever had.
