Here are 3 simple but effective tips to help seniors stay cool and safe as the weather warms up:

👕 Choose breathable clothing
Loose-fitting, lightweight fabrics like cotton and linen help regulate body temperature and prevent overheating.

💧 Hydrate smarter
Encourage regular sips of water throughout the day—even before feeling thirsty. Adding hydrating foods like fruit can help too.

🏡 Create a cool home environment
Use fans or air conditioning when needed, close blinds during peak heat, and avoid strenuous activities during the hottest parts of the day.

A huge thank you to Angela from Mobile Medical for joining us and sharing her expertise on the power of phytonutrients. After decades of working with seniors to improve their quality of life through home healthcare, we decided to open Concierge Care. We believe that with the support of a highly trained Senior Care Advisor and qualified and compassionate caregivers, seniors can maintain the highest quality of life in their own homes. We specifically chose the Nurse Registry model as it allows us to offer the highest quality service to our clients at the lowest possible cost. Additionally, the best caregivers appreciate and work with the companies that allow them to be compensated the most for their dedication and hard work. We are proud to have earned the “Best of Home Care” provider of choice award by Homecare Pulse (a 3rd party quality assurance company) but even more proud of the positive feedback we receive on a daily basis of how we have improved the lives of our clients and families. All of this could not have been accomplished without our teams that believe and practice Servant Leadership, and are committed to always helping others.
