Smilin’ Like a Butcher’s Dog at the Pittsburgh Penguins Night of Assists! 🐧✨
We had an incredible evening supporting the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, an organization dedicated to using the power of hockey to champion youth health, wellness, and education initiatives across the Pittsburgh region. This year’s event was all about raising vital funds for the Foundation’s community programs, and the energy was electric!
Some of our favorite highlights from the evening:
• Carnival Games with the Pros: There’s nothing quite like testing your aim at the “knock 'em down like some soda cans” game, hosted by none other than the Captain, Sidney Crosby. 🏒🥫
• A Historic Unveiling: We were lucky enough to witness local legend Burton Morris debut a stunning limited edition art piece celebrating an iconic milestone: 20 seasons of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang. 🎨🐐
• Player Meet-and-Greets: It was great chatting with Brett Kulak and Erik Karlsson throughout the night.
• Mentorship & Medicine: A true highlight was catching up with our mentors from UPMC Sports Medicine — Penguins Associate Team Physician Melissa McLane, DO, and Associate Fellowship Director Kelley Anderson, DO. 🩺
• Teamwork off the ice: We were thrilled to be accompanied by our friends from Case Specific Nutrition and Case Specific Athletics.
• Familiar Faces: As always, it was wonderful running into and from the Penguins!
Thank you to everyone who made this night so impactful. It’s an honor to be part of a community that gives back so generously. Also shoutout to State & Liberty Clothing Company for once again suiting us up for the very Pittsburgh Black & Gold theme of the evening!
