I couldn’t wait any longer to share this exciting news— Golden Hours Doula Services is growing!

I have been completely humbled & honored to see this little business grow over the last 2 years 😭🥹 My heart wants to serve every single mama & family, but I know that’s not feasible or fair to my clients or my family. After a very busy year and having to turn away many mamas looking for support, I thought and prayed over what my next steps would be. I was genuinely okay with continuing on and keeping things the same. But God spoke clearly and led sweet Cosette my way!

I can’t wait to share more about her and her heart behind birth work! Cosette shares a similar, faith based approach and I can’t wait to see how God continues to use her!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me! Every word of encouragement and prayer has been felt. 🤎

the soul behind this calling into birth work started with a little girl who was always wanted to be around & care for babies 🥹 this trend is so cute and I love thinking about all that God has brought me through to be here now. He writes our stories entirely and knows each twist and turn before we even exist— how comforting is that?!

your baby doesn’t care if they have the best stroller or used clothing.

your baby needs YOU most of all. The material necessities for a baby are actually SO minimal.

your birth story and the support you receive through the transition into motherhood will shape you and stick with you throughout the rest of your life. The investment into your “village” is much more valuable than the best stroller or boutique baby clothing & toys.

When I decided to dive into birth work, I also committed whatever this work would turn into, to the Lord. I felt called here and it was clear to me that my faith should be on the forefront, not something I am ashamed of or something that should be kept hidden. I felt pulled to put aside people pleasing tendencies & be bold in my belief. God has been so gracious to me through my time here so far and I am learning more daily. My faith naturally shapes how I support the families I get the opportunity to work with!

There’s a doula out there for everyone— we are blessed with so many amazing women supporting mothers in this area. It’s important to find someone you align with fully to invite into some of life’s most sacred & vulnerable moments 🤎

In an era of more, maybe less is what we really need. I’ve been feeling pulled towards simplifying & intentionality. 🤎 maybe you can resonate with some of these feelings! I don’t ever set New Year’s resolutions, but here are a few things (some big and some small) that are helping me simplify & focus on what truly matters this year.

I am officially certified to support my clients through cesareans at Butterworth Hospital 🤎

I am super grateful for this change and I hope it spreads to all local hospitals. Cesareans are usually not an easy choice and they deserve & need support!
