In 1918 John and Anna Moskal opened Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, over 100 years later we are still offering the same caring and compassionate services.

In 1918 John and Anna Moskal opened Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, which was located on 413 Broad Streeet in Johnstown. Due to a redevelopment project on Broad Street we found ourselves moving our funeral home to 79 J Street, to which we are still located at today. Even though we have grown over the years our values stayed the same. To provide the people of Johnstown the best care possible, in a time when the need for courtesy, respect and dignity is needed most. We pride ourselves on making our establishment as cozy and comfortable for the living as we can so that family’s can celebrate the life of their loved one in a relaxing environment. At Moskal-Reid Funeral Home we also own and operate Johnstown Monument Company. We are committed to providing the finest-quality custom grave markers so families can honor and remember their loved ones in their own special ways. We know how important it is to memorialize family members and we don’t take the matter lightly. We want to provide you with headstones that reflect families’ wishes and help show how important their loved ones are. We offer discounts and packages with services that include the monument. Also a discount for all Veterans. Showing how much we care and want to provide you with the right tribute for your loved one.
