Northeast Arkansas Children's Advocacy Center We host and video the safe and comfortable forensic interviewing of a child when allegations of abuse have been made.

Our goal is that the child should only have to tell their story of abuse to one stranger. The Northeast Arkansas Children's Advocacy Center opened in 2009. We provide a child-friendly, safe and secure environment for children to tell their story of sexual or physical abuse a single time to a single individual. The goal is to lessen the trauma for the child by eliminating multiple testimony episodes with multiple strangers. Under no circumstances is an alleged perpetrator ever allowed into the Center! We are available to serve all Northeast Arkansas child abuse victims under the age of 18. After a report has been made to the Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-482-5964), we provide an interview room and a trained interviewer who simply allows the child victim to tell his or her story of abuse. In addition, we also provide information on mental health providers and set up medical examinations for abuse victims.
