Wow. I TOTALLY missed my opportunity to get all “everything in moderation peeps” on OR before Thanksgiving …. THAT said we RARELY stick to that “rule of thumb” even with a “fit for DOING life”philosophy … so how do YOU handle the occasional “too much of a good thing?”… one thing not to do is promise yourself: I will “burn it off” at the gym (track, pool, dance club,etc ),nor “I’ll just fast”…. Or even worse — beat yourself up —thinking that will motivate you to not do it again… my trick: learned to “hit my reset button” —- wait til you are actually physically hungry to eat again , then keep it between hunger and full each time …. Not wait til you are starving to eat nor eat so much you have to switch to stretchy to feel comfy….
I do hope you had an amazing thanksgiving celebration —-and hope to see you here more regularly THROUGH the holdiay season —into the coming new year!
