Facebook informed me that, over the last 28 days,I have posted 25% less & lost engagement… my mama passed away in December —given that truth, I am pretty sure those who know me don’t feel “abandoned” and if any ONE can get encouragement from my journey—thats plenty good enough for me 🌸❤️🤗 … HOWEVER,just in case yall thought I disappeared, I am sharing a throw back video featuring these lovely women —that I did a Belly Dance for Fitness class with … I haven’t seen these friends in close to 5 years —and I still love them dearly … my care is not going anywhere— even if you don’t see me here. TOMORROW at Total Fitness 29…. Join me for 8am Super Circuit ;9am Pilates Plus and/or Rollology at 10am !!! Alllll TOMORROW , Wednesday Dec 31st !

New Years Day schedule: the gym is open but there wont be any studio classes ….soooo….after tomorrow’s classes, we wont be in-studio til next year !!!! …. Um …which means Friday morning 😎;

ON FRIDAY Jan 2nd:
Start off 2026 with me in my new class:
MetCon at 7am!!! …. MetCon stands for Metabolic conditioning —think layering the Super Circuit with a generous portion of cardio /abs and fat burning…annnnd close the first workout day of the NEW year , in studio , with me at Rollology at 6pm!!!

Scripture for the New Year illustrates,IMO, the best “self talk” ever (see pic)….when you doubt God — remind yourself of the times (for me a zillion) He has “showed up” already for you —and others you know—and remember HE hasnt changed ! His love is everlasting! (*Spirit Fit Chick*).

Wow. I TOTALLY missed my opportunity to get all “everything in moderation peeps” on OR before Thanksgiving …. THAT said we RARELY stick to that “rule of thumb” even with a “fit for DOING life”philosophy … so how do YOU handle the occasional “too much of a good thing?”… one thing not to do is promise yourself: I will “burn it off” at the gym (track, pool, dance club,etc ),nor “I’ll just fast”…. Or even worse — beat yourself up —thinking that will motivate you to not do it again… my trick: learned to “hit my reset button” —- wait til you are actually physically hungry to eat again , then keep it between hunger and full each time …. Not wait til you are starving to eat nor eat so much you have to switch to stretchy to feel comfy….

I do hope you had an amazing thanksgiving celebration —-and hope to see you here more regularly THROUGH the holdiay season —into the coming new year!

Oh yeeeeah its RED FRIDAY and though I dont forget the importance of those soldiers DEPLOYED on our behalf , sometimes Michael Angelo Walker has to remind me that we have a really cool, albeit informal, special day set aside EACH week!

Its called, (hashtag isnt NECESSARY however its a great way to show our nation united in love and care for those deployed— for anyone searching #’s)

Think of it as “Spirit Day” in school … wear red — (white & blue too)— and be an ambassador for a day, or just a moment … thoughtful, prayerfully remembering those deployed AND their familes;in this season of Thanksgiving … be mindful they dont all get to spend time at home with their loved ones— if you have a chance , thank them for their service and sacrifice …

… just thinking out loud here — we are pretty much in a military town (Next to the biggest base in the country)….maybe help a military spouse get something down from the top shelf at the market —as opposed to anything less than understanding,like,being frustrated how they (miraculously really) handle
4 little ones single handedly while their soldier spouse is away …dont think anyone here would ever do THAT …. Just remember my mama was in that same posiiton with the 4 of us … and anything is possible … with kindness and prayer, handle everyone with prayer ? Yup that fits . 🤗
