A sincere thank you to for all of the work they are doing to provide education, awareness, resources for beachgoers at Castles and Kalama Beaches in Kailua. Collectively we can help make sure there is less rubbish on our land and in our oceans. Organized beach cleanups with organizations such as are a favorite of mine(especially with my students at ), but so are daily walks to malama aina while I am blessed to be a visitor on the beautiful island of Oahu.

Cognitive skills, capacities, or abilities, also known as cognitive functions are brain-based skills we need to carry out any task from the simplest to the most complex. They have more to do with the mechanisms of how we learn, remember, problem-solve, and pay attention, rather than with any actual knowledge.
Cognitive skills or functions encompass the domains of perception, attention, learning, memory, language abilities, and decision-making. They are needed in the acquisition of knowledge, manipulation of information, and reasoning.

Children learn about people from statistical information. They evaluate evidence in light of their developing social knowledge, in an ongoing, reinforcing cycle. A fact you didn’t know about cognitive skill development in children is that they possess and demonstrate all the main types of learning; including statistical learning, learning by imitation, learning by analogy, and causal learning; even as babies. This includes learning the relationships between the sounds that underpin language acquisition, or the visual features that specify natural categories or concepts such as bird, tree, and car.

This week spent with the youth and staff at Genesis Hopeful Haven was extraordinary. I had so much fun getting to know each and every one of these young people and am forever grateful for the opportunity to create lasting relationships and help make plans for future career paths. IPP Program helps one to improve your memory, reasoning ability, concentration span, eye-hand coordination, and many other skills needed for the learning process. Once you know the cause of your disability, you can work on it and improve academic performance and co-curricular activities.

If you are a parent of a kid with reading disorders and you have taken up SOI and IPP programs for low learning abilities improvement, you have to keep some patience for sure. Immediate and quick results will not come from the programs, and you will see gradual improvements in your child.
SOI and IPP show exemplary results for brain training and social skills training for kids & adults.
