Meet Dr. VanHecke! 🦷
Dr. VanHecke earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Wayne State University, where he also worked as a research scientist and contributed to several published studies. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan- GO BLUE!- before moving to West Michigan to begin his dental career.

Detail-oriented and patient-focused, Dr. VanHecke is passionate about providing comfortable, evidence-based care for every patient. His background in chemistry helps him take an analytical, science-driven approach to dentistry—so you can feel confident you’re getting the best care possible.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Dr. VanHecke spending time with his family, working on home improvement projects, or exploring new advances in dental science and technology.

Please help us welcome Sadie our newest dental assistant! She has always loved going to the dentist, even as a child. Her passion for the field grew when her orthodontist transformed her smile and inspired her to help others feel the same confidence. She graduated from Western Michigan University then went on to Michigan Dental Assisting School. She now provides quality care to patients with compassion and positivity. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, running and staying active.

Wacky Fact of The day!
Dentist William Morrison co-invented cotton candy with confectioner John C. Wharton in 1897, and they unveiled it at the 1904 World's Fair. Morrison, a dentist by profession, collaborated with Wharton to create the machine that produced the spun sugar treat, initially called "Fairy Floss".
