Every induction is different,
but my goal remains the same. 💪
I help you feel confident, safe, and informed so you never feel alone.

Before the rawness of labor begins, I can:
• Share the birth plan with staff
• Set up a peaceful birth space
• Bring any last-minute things
• Make sure the family is comfortable

Because inductions can take (a long) time, I often check in and then step out until I’m needed again. I’m always just a call away and I never return empty-handed. 🍩🛍️

Through it all, I remind mamas: you’re doing it! 👏

Motherhood without separation.

In a lot of cultures, babies are not put down as often. They are carried. On hips. On backs. Through daily life. While cooking. Walking. Working. Surviving.

This isn’t a special moment.
This is just Tuesday.

It represents a kind of mothering where the baby’s needs are woven directly into the mother’s body and movement. There is no “container” for the child other than her arms. No expectation that the baby should be independent early. No pressure to sleep alone, self soothe, or wait.

It’s motherhood that says: You stay close because closeness is safety.

It also represents maternal labor that never pauses. The mother doesn’t stop moving because the child needs her. She adapts. She carries on, literally and figuratively. The work continues with the baby attached.

There’s no performance here. No aesthetic. No debate.

Just a mother doing what mothers have done for thousands of years: Keeping her child alive by keeping them close.

In many parts of the world, this is not called attachment parenting. It’s not a philosophy. It’s not controversial.

It’s just mothering.

And that’s what makes this image so powerful. It reminds us that the idea of putting babies down, away, separate, scheduled is actually the newer concept.

Closeness is the original design.

Home Birth costs too much and we just can't afford it.

But did you have a big wedding? How did you afford that? You saved and you cut back on all the things and you had a beautiful wedding. Now do the same for your home birth. you won't be sorry.

Every birth is different, but peace is always possible when a woman feels supported and safe.

Support doesn’t end when plans change;
it meets women exactly where they are.

These moments are held by God. 💓💆‍♀️
