We didn’t really get it until we experienced it.
The first time we ever did sauna (outside of the YMCA), it was outdoors, with the coolest group of people — somehow, sauna just attracts really awesome people.
No one’s on their phones.
Conversation flows easily.
No one’s trying to be anything other than themselves.
You step out of the sauna and directly onto the earth.
The heat strips away pretense, softens the body, and opens people up. You leave feeling that deep, full-body exhale sauna gives, mind quiet, chest open… and at the same time, that feeling you can only get from real human connection.
That relaxed, heart-full, blissed-out feeling lingers long after you leave.
I could try to explain it more — but honestly, it’s something you just have to feel for yourself.
We’ll be at every Tuesday at 7pm.
Come check it out — we’d love to meet you!
