Miller Healthcare kicked off the holiday season with a special visit from the North Pole. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived via sleigh just in time for bingo. Thankfully the reindeer know how to navigate snow!

What a treat! We stepped into a real-life Candyland today for a fantastic adult party, all to celebrate our amazing 🍬 🍭 Candy Queen! 👑 💖 The fun ended on a high note with refreshing creamsicle floats and savory French dip sandwiches at Bourbonnais Grove.

The Christkindlmart opened its doors at Miller Healthcare! Residents have the opportunity to shop for Christmas presents for family (and themselves😀) until Christmas Eve. Residents have been saving Bingo Bucks for their holiday shopping sprees. If you see someone you know, look away! The gift may be for you!!

There is nothing quite like gathering with family and loved ones, and we are so incredibly thankful for the memories made around the Thanksgiving table this year. Whether it was a traditional turkey feast, or just enjoying time together, those moments are what make our community feel like home.

Miller Healthcare had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Frank [Motown & More]. It was a delightful and interactive experience with residents and families singing along to numerous great songs.

What better way to kick off the holiday season than with a kitchen full of friends and fun! We had a blast at Bourbonnais Grove making these festive Turkey Cake Pops and easy No-Bake Turkey Cookies. It was a great way to share some smiles, get creative, and enjoy some sweet treats together.

A trip to White Fence Farm for their famous fried chicken, sides, and entertainment by the legendary Denny Diamond for this group from Westwood. Before heading in to one of the 12 dining rooms residents enjoyed going back in time checking out all the displays of toys, dolls, Christmas village, farm equipment and pictures and so much more. After lunch Denny Diamond dazzled us with songs from Neil Diamond (no relation). Needless to say they are looking forward to returning very soon!

🍂 Fall Fun at Bourbonnais Grove! 🍁
We had such an amazing time tapping into our creative side as we crafted some beautiful fall decorations! The spirit of the season is definitely in the air here at Bourbonnais Grove. It was wonderful seeing everyone's unique ideas come to life.

Taste buds were tested today at Miller Healthcare. Residents tried pickled okra, pickled brussel sprouts, pickled asparagus, sweet pickles, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, and mustard pickled eggs. Do you see the theme?? National Pickle Day!!
