I finally was able to drop off all of our homeless donations today! I cannot believe the amount of items we were able to collect for the Rescue Project 2025! We opted to do a large donation versus making individual bags this year. We handed out over 30 bags last year. This year we collected over 50 coats, almost 100 pairs of gloves, scarves, and hats! Toiletries, feminine products, flashlights, tarps, ponchos, you name it we donated it!

I forgot to take a picture before I started emptying the van, but we had over 12 contractor and lawn bags full of items plus about eight totes full of stuff.

Thank you to everyone that participated! We are working on a on a better system for The Rescue Project 2026! So stay tuned!! I love when our people really show up for our community! Xoxo, Christina

Today is Make a Friend Day, and while we don’t usually think of this work that way — it often starts with connection. For many seniors and families, we’re stepping in during moments that feel overwhelming or uncertain. Taking the time to listen, build trust, and simply be kind makes all the difference. Sometimes, that friendly presence is just as important as the work itself. For us, and our new friends.🧡

Why we don’t release estate sale addresses until the day before the sale

This is a question we get often, and we want to share the reasoning behind it — because it’s always about protecting our clients.

When we manage an estate sale, the home is still someone’s private property. Many of our clients are seniors, families going through a loss, or individuals in the middle of a major life transition. Until the sale officially begins, that home still contains personal belongings, valuables, and irreplaceable items.

Releasing the address too early can put the property at risk. Early traffic, drive-bys, theft, trespassing, and people knocking on doors or trying to shop before the sale are all real issues we work hard to prevent.

By waiting until the day before the sale to release the address, we are able to:

Protect our client’s home, privacy, and personal belongings

Reduce the risk of theft or damage

Prevent unauthorized early shopping or pressure on the family

Maintain a safe, respectful environment for everyone involved

This policy is not about secrecy or inconvenience — it’s about safety, respect, and professionalism.

We promise that when the address is released, you’ll have plenty of time to plan and attend. And we appreciate your understanding as we put our clients first, always.
