Business re-launch:

Hello everyone! I did go check out a space recently, and it really felt like I would have to put myself in a box or a niche for marketing. That has never resonated with me because for me this business is so closely tied to my self-expression, and to narrow that down means to also dim my light. I don't want to do that anymore. I also don't care if this creative outlet doesn't fit into normal standards of a successful business model. Success for me is getting to do what I love and share space in a way that is purely vibrational and energetic. This isn't my day job this is my creative outlet. I trust that the right people will show up at the right time. I also decided it doesn't have to be perfect. I can work out of my own home, or book sessions in people's homes.

**For now, I will be offering private group sound baths for $80. These can be done in your home or at a space of your choosing. I will also probably do some pop-up events when the weather is warmer.

**Individual sessions can be done in my home. I will start having some session spots on Thursday and Fridays during the day. I have some flexibility. For me to offer my home space to others I have to know you or know someone who knows you. $40 dollars for 50-minute sessions. We can do Reiki, VST, or combo sessions. I really do tailor these to what is going on in your life at the time.

-Difficult seasons, transitional periods in life
-Stress, over-taxed nervous system
-Feeling stuck
-Needing a break in your week from feeling busy
-Maybe you just think it would be cool to try it
-Seeking balance and grounding

Hey all! I am exploring a potential part time space so I can start offering sessions again. In the meantime- I need some practice. If you are available on 1/26 daytime hours I need one person for VST and one for reiki. DM for details/scheduling. I must know you or know someone who knows you to give out my home address for these. I will keep you posted as other details unfold!! Holding both excitement and terror right now 😂🙃, and faith that things will unfold in my highest good. 🙏🏻💜 I’ve missed this!

Last evening I had the excitement of bringing my first continuing education program to fellow social workers. “Sound Meditation for Helping Professionals” combined learning objectives with a sound meditation experience. Each participant was invited to complete a self evaluation tool before and after the experience, and left with resources and practical ideas to bring sound and meditation into their own self care practice and a 1 hour CEU. I would love to do more events for professionals in public or private settings so keep me in mind! Thank you @ Social Work p.r.n. for a lovely evening and such a great opportunity. 🙏🏻❤️

Check out this workshop on self care! I’ll be providing a sound meditation towards the end of the workshop to anchor in the experience and am so excited to collaborate with Shelley Winkler Wellness This Sunday!

I am also excited to be working with Social Work PRN for a staff event ”Sound Meditation for Helping Professionals” December 1st. It will be both experiential and educational. Hit me up if you want to plan something for staff wellness for holiday season! 💜💜💜

I’ve been through the ringer recently. Lots of highs and lows as I grow in this process of expressing myself through the healing arts. When I felt most heartbroken, I realized by turning my dream into a life raft I suffocated all of the joy out of the process. Recently, I’ve learned I’m not interested in “running a business” in a traditional sense. I hate marketing, trying to “sell product”-- and I also hate trying to fit into a mold as a healing practitioner. It’s really NOT ME AT ALL! I'm taking steps to put the JOY back into ECJ Healing (FOR ME!)

From now on I want to structure my business in a way that FEELS GOOD AGAIN! I wish to show up authentically as ME in every interaction, and for each interaction to be a mutual choice with mutual respect. I'm loosening the reigns and opening up in a way that feels more natural to me despite how business are "supposed" to operate.

Upcoming changes:
1) I have decided I’m going to operate under word of mouth. I am going to make updates to my website so that people cannot book through my website any longer. I want us to get to know each other briefly before we work together. DM, text, or email me directly if you are interested and we can see if our schedules align.
2) I’m going to be mobile Nov 1st. If you are in my area, I can travel to you as long as we both feel safe. Yoga Patch has been an amazing place to grow in—if you are interested in renting my space after I vacate I can always put you in touch with the owner.
3) I’m offering a no strings attached, money back guarantee. If you are not happy with something, tell me (kindly) and you will be refunded for your service. I will have set rates, but they are reasonable and affordable.
4) I will also make sure the spaces I’m entering into are aware that I am completely open to feedback, but it has to be articulated in a kind and helpful way and be growth oriented.

My sound baths are immersive experiences. I sit and play for portions, but also like to go over your body with different instruments as well. Not touching, just hovering above. I always make sure you are comfortable with this. It brings the sound closer to you and keeps you engaged. The goal is for you to enjoy stillness and help you deeply relax to help activate the relaxation response (your parasympathetic nervous system!)

ecjhealing Who is ecjhealing? If I'm being honest I'm figuring it out still, and enjoying this growth process as I express and grow and work with others.

I love working with people through sound and energy work because I do see that it helps people in a gentle and powerful way. This gentleness resonates with me greatly, as I have often described my own energy as gentle but powerful. What I do know is I feel passionate to serve others, and to bring peace and love to people by showing up and being authentically me. I want to give people a space to unplug from the outer world, and plug back into themselves. I love making these practices approachable.

I promise that my sound baths, reiki practice, and drumming practices will be unique to me. I'm not trying to recreate what others are doing, but showing up in these practices with my own energy and my own unique stamp and I hope that is felt by others. I want to always bring authenticity to every area of life and extend that into my small business.
