Beginner lash artist mistakes I see all the time 👀
• Using lashes that are too long/heavy for the natural lash
• Poor isolation (stickies = damage + bad retention)
• Too much adhesive or not enough
• Not properly analyzing eye shape before mapping
• Copying mappings without customizing
• Placing lashes too far or too close to the lash line
• Not adjusting for different curls + how they sit on the eye
• Rushing the set instead of focusing on quality
Mastering the basics will take you so much further than trying to rush into advanced sets ✨
Slow down, be intentional, and focus on technique — everything else will follow 🤍
