✨ Meet AmanaCare’s Scheduling Team ✨

Ever wonder who’s behind the scenes making sure every client has coverage and every shift is filled? The ones juggling phone calls, texts, emails, last-minute changes, and still keeping everything organized? That would be our incredible schedulers. 💛

They piece together caregivers and clients like a puzzle — adjusting when life happens and making sure care continues without disruption. They truly stay on top of all the things, all the time.

Here’s a little about the team keeping Nebraska covered:

💛 April schedules for eastern Nebraska and brings 7 years of healthcare experience to the table. Family means everything to her — along with loud music and an impressive shoe collection. 👠

💛 Charlene schedules in both central and western Nebraska (yes, multiple time zones!). Being a mom and grandma are her greatest accomplishments, and she shows up to family events whenever she can.

💛 Kathleen (Kathy) handles scheduling in Kearney. A mom of three boys and grandma to two grandsons, she brings a calm, organized, people-first approach that keeps families feeling steady and supported.

💛 Sara schedules for North Platte and much of west-central Nebraska. A former care coordinator turned scheduler, she’s been in healthcare since she was 16! She loves AmanaCare so much that two of her grown kids now serve as caregivers with us. 💛

What makes them especially passionate? Each of them has a heartfelt, personal connection to home care. This isn’t just a job — it’s personal.

💙 Amber – Business Development Specialist, Central Nebraska
Amber has been with AmanaCare for several years, and truly no one loves their job more. You’ll find her on the phone, in a meeting, or chatting with someone about home care or the Medicaid A&D Waiver. She’s also a huge advocate for stroke survivors and their families.

💙 Alicia – Business Development Specialist, Eastern Nebraska
Covering Lincoln and Omaha, Alicia brings warmth and energy everywhere she goes. She’s passionate about making sure families understand the quality care our caregivers provide. An animal lover at heart, she cares deeply about people — and all living things.

💙 Susanna – Business Development Specialist, Nebraska Panhandle
Born and raised in the Panhandle, Susanna knows western Nebraska like the back of her hand. Agriculture runs deep in her roots. She supports the dementia coalition, Veterans, and all things Nebraska — serving her own community with pride.

💙 Heather – Director of Sales & Marketing
Traveling statewide for presentations, conferences, and partnerships, Heather thrives on networking and relationship-building. She loves the Lord, believes deeply in legacy, and honors her parents’ memory through the work she does. Family and faith drive her mission.

✨ Meet AmanaCare’s Executive Leadership Team ✨

Kathleen (Kathi) Horsley is our founder and an RN with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. From the very beginning, her motivation has been simple and powerful — serve others well and live a life that brings glory to Jesus Christ. AmanaCare was built from that heart.

Erich Nickman, our CEO, is a former Catholic missionary turned business leader, devoted family man, and yes… keeper of chickens. 🐓 His leadership blends faith, vision, and a deep commitment to people. Also, he was quite the basketball star!

Tim Martens, our COO, brings a wealth of experience in senior care and broadcast journalism. He has a gift for seeing the big picture, strengthening operations, and helping guide our next steps with clarity and strategy. Tim and his family reside in Omaha.

Jenny Laschansky, our Executive Director, is Nebraska through and through. She loves Lincoln, excels in customer service and daily operations, and cares deeply for her family, her pets (because yes, pets are family!), and the Lord.

Together, Kathi, Erich, Tim, and Jenny lead with grace, humility, and purpose. They consistently put our clients, caregivers, and office teams first — often beginning meetings in prayer and grounding our work in faith.

We are grateful for leadership that serves from the heart. 💛
