If your healthy New Year's resolutions haven't quite gone as planned... it's not too late!!! Im planning to do a more dialed in bootcamp group in February!

♥️ We'll be evaluating our current diets and making a nutrition plan based on what we eat currently and our future goals!
♥️ We'll be picking a workout program and sticking to it!
♥️ We'll be upping our water intake!
♥️We'll be learning about healthy swaps for things we love AND balancing the not-so-healthy stuff we love too!
♥️We'll be learning as we go and I'll be holding your hand 🤝🏻 through it ONE ON ONE until you get the hang of it!

end of 2022 goal: FEELING my best through the holidays. 🙌🏻

I finished 2021 not feeling my best. I let the holidays take control and I gained 10lbs over the holiday season 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 when January 1st rolled around.. I started a New Years resolution like everyone else. But I actually kept it !! I lost over 20lbs in the first few months of 2021 and I've been able to sustain that through the rest of the year. And I am NOT letting it happen again this year.

This time I'm finishing strong 💪🏼 that doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy myself. I'll still indulge on all the holiday treats and drinks... but this time it will be in moderation... rather than mindlessly stuffing my face 😵‍💫

December 6 I'm starting a brand new workout program that will take me through the end of the year and into January. 5 days a week 30-45 min a day. Is it ideal to start a new program right before the holidays? Probably not... but there will never be a *perfect time* so why not?? 👏🏼👏🏼

Finishing New Year's Eve 2021 with my pants too tight and hating how all my clothes looked on me is NOT something I want to do again. 😑

my girls begged me to wear my "flower bathing suit" to the lake today so we could match 🥰🥰 (they also colored all over themselves with marker so they're not angels all the time 😆)

there used to be a time when I'd hide in my coverup in my chair at the beach, while my kids ran and played. The only swimsuit i wore for years was a hand-me-down maternity swimsuit... I wasn't even pregnant when I wore it. I was too self conscious to enjoy this time with them.

But the truth is... no one cares what you look like in your swimsuit... except for you.
No one's looking at you, no one's judging you... except you.

I get it, I spent years uncomfortable.. but I was too lazy to change anything. Until I realized IM the one in control.

You should be comfortable at any size.. but if you're not... YOU are the only one who can change it 👊🏻 stop watching your life from the sidelines.

Doing the same pdf workout over and over⁣⁣
Making a pitcher of disgusting fruit and veggie smoothies to drink everyday⁣⁣

& then asking myself...⁣⁣
Should I try those skinny teas?⁣⁣
Maybe I'll do keto ⁣⁣
How many meals a day should I eat?⁣⁣
All calories are the same whether it's fruit or candy right?⁣⁣

Just to get frustrated that I wasn't having results and give up. ⁣⁣

how it started--> how it's going

the baby weight from my third baby didn't fall off like it did with my first two.

i tried going for walks, using my elliptical, cutting my portions.. but nothing seemed to work.. until this.

I committed to 4 workouts a week in my living room that I streamed from my tv.
I committed to a clean eating plan where I ate a balanced diet of all food groups, in proper portions.
And the weight finally started coming off.

My original plan was to just cancel once I "lost the baby weight" little did I know I would be creating a healthy lifestyle that eventually became routine for me.

Almost 4 years later, and over 30lbs lighter.. here I am.. doing the same thing, and achieving the results of my dreams ✨

It's not about just losing the baby weight.. even though that got me started, that's not what keeps me going.

It's about living a lifestyle that will keep me healthy for years to come.

4 years ago, in the thick of postpartum life with a 3 kids I'd never imagined I'd be here.. and I know for you it might seem impossible.. but if I can do it.. you can do it. You just have to START ✨

20LBS DOWN! 💥

I am SO excited to hit this milestone. I haven't been at this weight since before kids 11 years ago, and to be honest I thought I never would again..

Over these past few months while I'm excited about what I've LOST.. I'm more excited about what I've GAINED.

Energy, confidence, motivation.

It's been hard work.
Saying no to junk, and treats, and drinks.
Getting up early to work out.
Prepping healthy meals everyday.

But you know what's harder?
Feeling uncomfortable in my own skin.
Having my clothes all be too tight.
Trying on an outfit and hating how I look in everything.

What have I been doing?
💥 20-30 min workouts in my living room 6 days a week
💥 following a nutrition plan based on clean eating and proper portions
💥 drinking a gallon of water everyday
💥 walking a minimum of 10,000 steps everyday
💥 tracking everything

More than anything, I've been CONSISTENT.
Consistency is KEY 🔑

Apparently today is .. If the past two years have shown us anything, it's how important HEALTH is. I'm not talking about: get a couple shots to get free Krispie cream healthy... I'm talking about REAL health.

Getting enough sleep, fueling your body with healthy foods, exercising, drinking enough water. 💤 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🥦 💧

It's more than getting a "bikini body" it's about being able to keep up with your kids. It's about being able to walk up a flight of stairs without being winded. It's about waking up with energy and feeling good every single day.

Who wants to spend the rest of their life on various medications for PREVENTABLE health issues that could be CURED by just.... living a healthy life.

Your health is your responsibility... no one is going to do it for you. Health is something you have to work for, everyday. “Every time you eat or drink, you are either feeding disease or fighting it.”

Kim Kardashian was right.... No one wants to work anymore. Shut off the TV. Get off the couch. & Get your ass up and work. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

17lbs. I went into 2022 knowing I wanted to clean up my act but I did not expect to be down 17 lbs in less than 3 months!

It's amazing what happens when you actually follow the plan that's laid out for you ... crazy right 🤪🤪

Everyone is asking me what I've been doing so here it is:
•20-30 min workouts most days
•following a clean eating nutrition plan and tracking everything
•cutting WAY back on alcohol, takeout, and treats (& tracking them when I do have them)

This is what has been working for me.

I'm not the type of person who will say anything and everything to convince you that this is the only thing you should do. I simply give you the information to let YOU decide if it will.

Following a clean eating nutrition plan and cutting back on junk works for me. Doing a quick 30 min workout in my living room works for me.

If someone told me they followed vegan diet I would know that wouldn't work for me. Or that they swear by this one gym class every night at 7, I know I don't want to leave my house or work out that late.

Different things work for different people.

But the most important thing is your MINDSET. If you aren't ready to make a change then nothing will stick. I wasn't ready back in the fall, I was drinking a lot, getting way too much takeout, and I was at the point I didn't even care anymore! Until none of my clothes fit right and I realized I needed to get back on track!

The first couple weeks will be tough BUT I promise, it will become a routine and it gets easier. If you need a little extra accountability and support, join my April bootcamp!

It was NOT easy.
This is hard work.⁣
Showing up everyday.⁣
Working out.⁣
Consciously choosing what foods I eat.⁣
Motivating myself.⁣
⁣. but you know what else is hard?⁣

Not being happy with how I feel on the inside and on the outside. ⁣
Feeling self-conscious with no confidence in myself.⁣
Feeling exhausted and sluggish all the time.⁣

Guess what? it’s all hard...⁣
But which would you rather choose? ⁣
The hard decisions that change your life?
or the ones that you are choosing to live with?⁣

The first hard decision I made was making my health a priority. And I have to consciously choose that each and everyday to make me a better ME.

Sometimes you need a total reset, a mindset shift. & if you're not ready, it won't happen. But when you ARE ready, you will make it happen 💪🏼

✨ RESULTS ARE IN ✨
I went ALL in for January. After one month of tightening up I lost 8 pounds 🙌🏻🙌🏻

After a couple months of over-indulging my clothes were tight, I felt like crap, and I gained weight. I decided 2022 is going to be my HEALTHIEST year.

The first couple weeks weren't easy and the scale barely moved. I was definitely discouraged but it's important to remember that results don't come quickly and CONSISTENCY IS KEY! 🙌🏻

My goals for the month were:
•one 20 min Job 1 workout every morning
•stick to my nutrition plan and tracking
•drink over 100oz of water everyday
•cut alcohol
•another Bodi workout in the afternoon/evening
•minimum 10,000 steps everyday.

Your goals don't have to be the same as mine, but I was ready to get strict!
I stuck with it and I'm sooo happy with my progress. I'm starting over again Monday and I'm hoping to reach my ultimate goal in February! 🙌🏻 are you with me?!! Comment below or send me a DM & I'll get you in my February group! 🏃🏼‍♀️

I'm not perfect.
I don't like cooking.
I'm not an early riser.
I'm not naturally skinny.
I don't not like junk food.

I work for it.
I choose to wake up early.
I choose to press play on my workout.
I choose a glass of water over a cocktail.
I choose to cook dinner instead of ordering takeout.
I choose to say yes to the things that make me healthier.. and no to the things that don't.

Because my long term goals are more important than a short term craving, or an "I don't feel like it today."

Don't you think I want to stop at the drive thru every morning and get a bagel and a Frappuccino?! Of course I do, who doesn't! But that's not healthy.

Weight loss is more than just how you look. Do I want to look and feel good in a bathing suit at the beach this summer? Of course.
Do I want to deal with high cholesterol, heart disease and a slew of other health issues in the future because I ate like s**t and never moved my body while I was young? Nope.

You can get as many boosters as you want, but it won't help you from real, serious health issues unless you change something.

People will say to me things like: "oh I really don't like vegetables with breakfast" or "I'm really picky", or "I don't have time." Guess what?? This is YOUR health, YOUR life. And if you aren't willing to prioritize your own health and try new things, then nothing will change.

You don't have to be perfect, and you don't have to know it all. You just have to put one foot forward and START. ✨
