Postpartum support is essential in the transition into motherhood. So much focus is on the labor and delivery experience but that really is only the beginning. I highly encourage finding a support group for many reasons! It’s a great way to express your feelings, thoughts, fears, anxieties and joys. The postpartum time period can feel very isolating for some. So finding a support group is also a great way to develop new friendships and gain a sense of community.
