Learning to welcome criticism is one of the hardest but most freeing parts of emotional growth. Many of us were never taught how to separate feedback from rejection. When someone points out something we could do better, our brain often hears, “You’re not good enough.”
But criticism doesn’t have to be an attack, it can be a mirror. It reveals areas for growth, not failure. When you shift your mindset, feedback becomes an opportunity instead of a threat.
💭 Mindset Shifts
1. Assume positive intent first.
2. Separate your identity from your actions.
3. See feedback as information, not insult.
4. Accept that growth requires discomfort.
5. Affirm your worth afterward.
