2. Take a deep breath.
3. Write it down once, then close the notebook.
4. Ask, “Is this helping or hurting me?”
5. Remind yourself: “I can’t change what’s done.”
6. Replace guilt with grace.
7. Forgive yourself for being human.
8. Visualize pressing “stop.”
9. Swap “what if” for “even if.”
10. Move your body — walk, stretch, release energy.
11. Talk it out with someone safe.
12. Journal a goodbye to that moment.
13. Avoid triggers like fatigue or silence.
14. Focus on what’s in front of you right now.
15. Remember: caring doesn’t mean overthinking forever.
16. Replace judgment with curiosity.
17. Listen to calming music.
18. File that memory under “lesson learned.”
19. Focus on who you’ve become since then.
20. End with peace: “I release what I can’t rewrite.”
You’re not weak for replaying moments, you’re healing from them.
