I teach a gentle Hatha flow on Fridays at 11:30 CT. I teach it virtually because of the pandemic, and because my friends and clients who live in other parts of the country and world can join if they like, which makes me happy because I'm seeing people I haven't seen since college in these classes.

If you'd like to try my virtual yoga classes, which include this one and a restorative class on Monday evenings, you can do so by contributing $12 today (or any time) and then you have access for a month to try it out. I provide a challenge every week for my members and contributors that helps them direct their focus as they take a mini-break for 15 minutes every day to do one thing for pure enjoyment, and for themselves.

We don't get enough play, joy, and downtime in our culture. We don't get enough rest and rejuvenation. Play is a type of rest, and there are several that we miss out on with our busy, must do more lifestyles.

This week, I offer a breathing technique to help with being fully present as you take your mini break and do something you enjoy.

Today I teach live on zoom.

You can join class by going to www.ko-fi.com/twonaughtygoatslavenderfarm and contributing either once or monthly and you'll get access to the invite.

Gentle Yoga encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation and helps you build confidence at any level, as well as strength, balance and flexibility by cuing your body through a series of flowing gentle poses, linked with breath and held for a little longer than a standard flow class. Appropriate for all levels, gentle yoga is practiced at a slower pace, focusing on slightly longer holds and deep breathing. If you have a mat, that's great. None are necessary. You can bring a hard bound book or two instead of yoga blocks. You may find it useful to have a blanket or two on hand also.
