Fun Fact Friday:

-Serotonin is made from the essential amino acid, tryptophan, which 95% is absorbed from diet through foods such as meat, fish, dairy products, eggs, nuts, fruits and veggies.
-The amino acid is absorbed by the gut and transformed into Serotonin, which controls mood, emotions, energy, promotes sleep, etc.

This is why it is so important to be mindful of foods we eat and help increase serotonin ☺️

Balanced Wellness is excited to now be providing the following services through the Kenosha Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program:

-Individual Skill Development & Enhancement
-Individual/Family Psychoeducation
-Employment Related Skills Training
-Wellness Management & Support

Along with continuing to provide:
-Physical Health Monitoring
-Medication Management

We are now accepting referrals for adults and youth clients who are in need of these services. All services can be provided in-home, in the community, and/or virtually.

Welcoming Dan Rohrmayer to Balanced Wellness! He will be assisting in managing and growing the company as well as providing direct services to individuals enrolled in the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program of Kenosha County. He is now accepting referrals for adult and youth clients looking to receive Individual Skill Development, Individual/Family Psychoeducation, Wellness Management, and Employment Related Skills services. Dan has been working within the Kenosha CCS program for going on 10 years now and has been in the mental health field for nearly 20 years. He is eager to begin his new professional journey here with Balanced Wellness.
