Happy Friday with Our Kewanee Seniors!

Brandie Swanson and I stopped by with some snacks and offered free blood pressure checks — and of course, shared plenty of laughs with this fun group!

We almost stayed for B-I-N-G-O, but promised we’ll join in next month!

Always such a joy spending time with our seniors at the Henry County Senior Center!

Celebrating Our Amazing ER Nurses!

We dropped off some goodies to our incredible ER nursing teams to show a little love and appreciation!

The first photo is from OSF St. Mary’s, where they’re in the middle of a much-needed expansion — we can’t wait to see the finished result!

The second photo is from the St. Luke’s ER nurses, who were bringing back the 70’s with a whole lot of love for their patients!
While we couldn’t snap photos at Holy Family in Monmouth due to current restrictions 😷, we are so thankful for their continued dedication and care.

Thank you to all the nurses who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and cared for — you are appreciated today and every day!

The Henry County Senior Center in Kewanee is hosting a Baked Potato Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 15th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM!

🍽️ $8 includes a loaded baked potato with toppings like cheese sauce, bacon, broccoli, butter & sour cream — plus a cookie for dessert!

📍 Dine in, carryout, or drive-up options available.
🕓 Orders must be submitted by October 14th.
Come out and support a great cause while enjoying a delicious lunch!

Assisted Living Appreciation Week – Day 2

Today we celebrated our amazing Assisted Living team with a sweet treat to say, “Thank you for keeping us A-FLOAT!”

Residents and staff enjoyed classic Root Beer Floats together, it was the perfect way to share smiles, stories, and a little nostalgia.

We’re so grateful for our staff and residents who make every day special here at our community!

Community Fun at the Parade & Pork Chop Tent
What an amazing day representing Arcadia in the parade and at the Pork Chop Tent! We had an absolute blast handing out candy and fans to the community, and of course, serving up those delicious pork chop sandwiches.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and to be a part of such a fun-filled event. A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by, we’re grateful to be part of this amazing community!

🎶💙 Closing Out Concert in the Park 💙🎶

Haley and I have had such a wonderful time over the last 10 weeks participating in this amazing community event! We are so grateful to our Kewanee community for allowing us to be part of something so special.

It was such a joy to see happy faces enjoying music, food, and fellowship each week. A heartfelt thank you goes out to:
🎵 Our Activity Directors for bringing residents to enjoy the concerts
Our van drivers for safely getting them there
Our kitchens for preparing snacks
The staff who came out to help pass out treats
And last but not least, our regionals Amy and Holly, who made sure we had goodies every week (many lovingly prepared by them!)

Special thanks to Stephanie Z for the perfect sign that received so many compliments!

We are truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community and are already looking forward to next year—making new friends, reconnecting with old ones, and of course, enjoying more great music together.
We are Arcadia!!!

Yesterday, in honor of National Lemonade Day, we spread a little sunshine by dropping off refreshing lemonade to case management and hospital staff in the Kewanee community.

It was our way of saying thank you for all the hard work and care they provide every single day. Cheers to kindness, community, and of course… lemonade!

Another Wonderful Night at Concert in the Park!
We’ve had such a blast enjoying music, fresh air, and great company at Concert in the Park and we can’t believe the season is already coming to a close!

Thank you to everyone who’s joined us and made these evenings so special. We’re soaking up every last note and memory!
