Do you explore new foods very often?

This week, I discovered broccoli slaw. And I'm not using it in a salad.

Have you used broccoli slaw in anything other than a salad? What's your favorite recipe?

I REALLY want to stay in bed this morning. But with a wedding cake due at 10, family Christmas at 1, kids to hang out with, school to plan...I've got things to do! Skipping the workout isn't one of them.

HERE'S THE TRUTH: Sometimes, I'm not motivated.

I spend my days surrounded by buttercream. Buttercream is my nemesis. Making 47 wedding cakes in 6 months kills my well-developed healthy routine.

I've spent the summer making excuses:
🥦I don't have time to prep meals.
😴I am so tired, I can't post what I ate today.
🎂I have to start work early if I'm going to get everything done--no time to work out.
🌮I'll just eat these chips and salsa for snack--have to finish the leftovers from the party.

I'm over it. I'm going to be 44 in October. I'd like to feel great again by then. I know what it takes, and I'm not doing it well right now.

I'm done making excuses.

On September 4, a few friends and I are going to kick our summer excuses to the curb with whole foods and a semi-laid-back detox and very low-key exercise (you heard me right).

If you're done making excuses, I'd love it if you would consider committing 21 days to your nutrition and health with encouragement from me and a few other women. I'd love to talk to you about this. Please reach out to me!! Comment below or message me for details!
