One item that’s incorporated in my house at every dinner is a salad. Salads, when made correctly can be a great source of protein & nutrients.
Also a good way to use up items that are going bad in the fridge. It’s always fun to mix and match different seeds, fruits and vegetables to see what you like. Always with a homemade dressing. Whether it gets eaten that night or stored in fridge for lunch the next day… always a nutritious quick and easy option 😊

While meal prepping for a family a few years back it was a request to always have some sort of salad on the dinner table not just a plain boring one. It was a way to get her kids to try new foods. Don’t forget familial eating habits play a key role is children’s diets.
