"Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which ties everything together in unity."
- Colossians 3:14
T-SHIRTS to raise funds for the family in need are available now. while supplies last, at Hoosiers Home Court Cafe at 12 E. Main St., Knightstown, Indiana. ALL proceeds will benefit the family in need caught in the center of this storm, prompted by the son who, filed the lawsuit with the help of the ACLU to have the Cross taken down from atop the Knightstown community's Christmas tree on the town's Public Square.
The Matthew 5:40 Movement Knightstown Indiana has emerged following the lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana on behalf of a Knightstown resident, who stated that the display of the cross on the community Christmas tree on the town's public square, was in violation of the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause. This action has gained worldwide attention.
The response of the Matthew 5:40 Movement is to surround this man and his family with love. His father has terminal cancer. His family is hurting and in despair, all under the glare of the world. This man is hurting too. This group is donating food and money to the family through community support to help ease their burden of insurmountable medical expenses and financial hardship.
The cross has left the top of the tree...but it's power is felt even more deeply now in our hearts.
T-SHIRTS are being sold to commemorate this growing Cross movement in Knightstown, Indiana. All proceeds will be donated to help this family.
Healing...for this family..this Christmas season and beyond...and for this community.
Those two lighted sticks...once perched atop that tree....tell us....that we welcome you all...we are all God's children.
"And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles."
