As many of you have heard, Steve Bailey will be retiring at the end of the year. Steve will be incredibly missed by us all. Paul and Danielle have been working at Prompt since early 2022 and began running the clinic summer of 2023
“We are incredibly grateful for Steve’s generosity, which will allow us to continue the legacy of excellence and individualized care he created here at Prompt. Prompt has been and will continue to be a clinic centered around you, the patient, and doing everything we can to help lead you out of pain and back to doing what you love without pain and limitation. We do not take this opportunity lightly and are grateful for the ability to play a part in your recovery. We look forward to serving you and the Knoxville community for many years to come!” -Paul and Danielle Wilson

Meet our Physical Therapists!

Danielle Wilson PT, DPT
Staff Physical Therapist

What lead you to PT?
I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare and help people in some capacity. I quickly realized med school wasn’t for me so I began pursuing physical therapy. I was an athlete but always wanted to work with kids. In undergrad I had the opportunity to serve in Mexico providing physical therapy for children with special needs and I found my passion there for working with that population. I have worked in a variety of settings but have spent the last 5-6 years my career in pediatrics.

What do you like to do for fun?
Anytime I can get outside and move I am happy. Even if that is going for a walk or run at the park or a short hike. I also like exploring new places with my two boys, husband and friends. I love gathering the people we love together and doing the things we love.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
I am half Scandinavian so I have always wanted to go to Norway (in the warmer months) and see where my family came from and the beauty it has to offer.

Where is your go to place to eat?
I love Mediterranean so I tend to navigate towards that. Or I can’t turn down anything with salmon.

Fun fact:
I created my own Instagram page during the pandemic () to help parents and caregivers learn ways to promote development in their babies and young children.

Meet our Physical Therapists!

Dr. Sloane Cline PT, DPT
Staff Physical Therapist

What lead you to PT?
Like most PT’s with a background in sports, I was exposed to physical therapy at a young age from a shoulder injury. I spent several months in an outpatient clinic rehabbing my shoulder following a rotator cuff tear. I developed a great relationship with the therapist I worked with and felt like I was able start grasping how important proper training and form was with progressing through a rehab program. Nearly 5 years later when my nephew was born, I was exposed to another world of physical therapy. My nephew was seen by a pediatric PT for the first few weeks of his life. Watching the PT work with him and my sister drove me further into understanding how specific movements and positions can impact someone’s growth and development. I knew then that physical therapy had many realms that provide benefit for all different types of people and I wanted to know more.

What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy spending a good amount of time outdoors. My husband and I both have a love for hiking, camping, taking our pup to all the dog parks, or simply sitting around a fire looking up at the night sky. We are excited to share our love for all things outside with our son come this fall.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
I’d love to go to as many National Parks as I possibly can and experience all of God’s beautiful creation with my husband. Our list of “must go to” places grows daily.

Where is your go to place to eat?
My go to place to eat is in Cookeville, TN. Crawdaddys is a unique and family owned restaurant. I am a sucker for bourbon street style food and they have the perfect taste of Louisiana. Give me all the shrimp and gumbo!

Fun fact: I’m not shy in a kitchen. I enjoy trying recipes of all sorts and perfecting recipes passed along from family. Hosting friends and family is something I always look forward to.

Meet our Physical Therapists!

Dr. Paul Wilson PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS, CMPT
Clinical Director

What lead you to PT?
Very early on I figured out I don’t have the attention span to sit at a desk, and wanted to find a career where I could serve others. I had my own sports injuries as a high schooler and my mom was an occupational therapist, which led me to want to do something in the medical field. In college I was able to spend time in Mexico and the Dominican Republic working both in medical clinics and physical therapy clinics. I found that with physical therapy one was able to make a lasting impact with the patient, and could see progress over time. It felt like Physical therapy allowed me to use my gifts and background in a way that just clicked with how my brain works. I really enjoy the puzzle of listening to a patients story, and figuring out what needs to be done to get them feeling and moving better again.

What do you like to do for fun?
Anything outside and with my family. We enjoy hiking, camping, and paddle boarding as a family. Mountain biking is my go to sport as of the last few years. Lifting weights and running are another hobby I really enjoy. Wrestling my two wild little boys is a favorite hobby of mine, and breaks out the second I walk in the door after work.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would that be?
I would love to do a long distance hiking or trail running trip through the alps going through beautiful mountain ranges and stopping at huts eating lots of local food.

Go to food:
Chipotle, one of the few restaurants that can consistently fill me up without putting me in a food coma.

Fun fact:
Prior to moving to Knoxville I worked in Nikes wellness center at their headquarters in Oregon, providing PT to their employees and athletes in a 60,000 square foot gym.
