THE KNOX CHALK CAR

Our story is a happy accident. I'm a car enthusiast who has never had a Honda before so I joined a national online Honda club. Some of the members were “chalking” their older Hondas. Since this one is a 2004 and I was not fond of it’s plain silver color I decided to “chalk board” paint it. The only color at the store was black but I like blue so I went to a home improvement store for a custom chalk board paint color. I followed online instructions and videos on how to paint it. That was June 2019.

Our activism is another happy accident. At first it was just something fun for me and my family but then I realized other people would enjoy it too. It’s a opportunity to bring subjects to light in a fun, creative way. So now we go to events. Invite us, we will come if we can and speak to people to raise awareness and promote acceptance of disability, diversity, and anything that shapes our lives. Also we will let you draw on our car. It’s pretty neat. :) ~Knox Chalk Car
