Today is November 23, 2025 What has happened since the trial in April 2025?
There have been a few hearings and the amount awarded to us from the jury has been lowered on the wire tapping case. We are currently waiting for a final ruling on the trial and award from the civil case.
The criminal case from April 13th 2023 has now been continued 12 times from 2023. Even after the Grand jury ruled to move the case forward in June 2025 Clark Short has not pleaded in front of a judge yet for the charges of Assault and Vandalism.
All things done in the dark come to the light…….
At trial Clark Short (the neighbor that sued us twice) mentioned in his testimony that he eats breakfast with his ex-brother in law everyday.
What we have learned since then is that his brother in law has bought land from the land holding company that is preparing land for the DR Horton rental subdivision that is currently being built on previous farm land in the immediate area. He does own a large excavating company, has worked with the landholding company on other properties and I have been told his son is directly involved with the excavation happening on the properties being prepared for DR Horton.
The property now owned by the brother in law connects to Clark Shorts property and the land DR Horton is currently building on as well as a third property recently rezoned for high density population. Clark Shorts property is land locked and access the road via an easement across our property.
These new facts only strengthen our opinions of the true intent of these people and their lawsuits.
We continue to work the farm, make our products, our videos and cater to our guests that visit.
Will it ever come to a conclusion? Sometimes we wonder….
