Pick up your Regal Turkey Trot packets at The Mill & Mine until 6 pm today (Wednesday).

They will also be available tomorrow morning at The Mill & Mine starting at 6:30 am, but avoid the crowd and get yours today!

We’re just one day away from ✨RACE DAY✨ so let’s review the day…

First, please know which corral you should start in. We will have volunteers at each one making sure things flow as easily as possible, and .running pacers will be in each corral to help push if you want a PR! We do ask that all strollers and walkers please start behind the BOUND pace group in corral C.

Secondly, we don’t want anyone blaming us for their turkey being too dry, so please familiarize yourself with the race times b/c we will stick to the schedule.

Next up, finish line. As soon as you cross the finish please continue walking down the street or make a left turn back into the Mill and Mine lawn where we will have a selfie station, light snacks and water waiting there for you!

Let’s talk ✨PARKING✨ on race morning! The beauty of downtown is that parking is abundant, but close proximity to the start line is first come first serve. The Little Gobbler Kids Run takes off at 8am sharp, so surrounding roads will be closed to cars a few minutes before. In addition, W Depot Ave. will be closed to cars the entire morning. Plan your parking now for less stress on race morning…and if you really want to reduce stress, don’t forget early packet pick-up starts today!

The best way to make your race morning easier is to come to ✨EARLY PACKET PICK-UP✨ We’ll have two chances to pick up your gear in advance, and extra fun planned at all of them! Grabbing your bib and bag early means you skip the lines on race morning, and you don’t have to worry about running your stuff back to your car before the race starts. You can also grab bibs for others, you just need their name!

Each day we’ll be sharing ways to make your race day the best experience, and today we’re talking about ✨CORRALS✨ Corrals help participants start with runners of like pace/training, and makes for an easier start line experience for everyone. If you’re going for a specific finish time, don’t stress, all finish times are based on your “chip” time. That means the clock doesn’t start until your bib crosses the start line, so your time will be the same whether you start in the front or in the back! Help us make this the best Turkey Trot ever by starting in the corral that matches your training. And be on the lookout for the .running pacers if you’re aiming for a specific goal!

KTC’s top mission is to promote healthy movement, and there’s no better way than to start with our youth! We were able to help out the Northshore Elementary PTO this past week for their fun run, and it was very exciting to see so many little runners pass under our arch 💙 If you have a little runner in your family, we have a kids mile at almost all of our races and the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon Kids Race kicks off in February at the Knoxville Zoo!
