In FY2024, Ascension provided $2.1 billion in care of persons living in poverty and other community benefit programs. Across 16 states and the District of Columbia, Ascension’s network encompasses approximately 106,000 associates, 26,000 aligned providers, 105 wholly owned or consolidated hospitals, and 34 senior living facilities. Additionally, through strategic partnerships, Ascension holds an ownership interest in 26 other hospitals.

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo was happy to welcome Colts Center Tanor Bortolini for a special visit! 🏈

Bortolini presented a signed jersey in recognition of our comprehensive Oncology Services, which continue to expand thanks to community support. He also celebrated our Emergency Department, recognizing the team for housing Howard County’s only Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program, and celebrated the hospital’s collaboration with EMS providers who ensure patients are transported safely and quickly.

As our hospital President Don Damron shared, "Health care is more than medicine – it’s about community, compassion, and hope."

Did you know we are a certified Safe Sleep Hospital? We're passionate about making sure all babies sleep safely and are here to help families learn the ABCs of safe sleep:

𝗔 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲: Keep the crib empty! No blankets, pillows, or toys with your baby.
𝗕 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸: Always place your baby on their back for every sleep, including naps.
𝗖 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗯: Your baby should sleep in a crib, bassinet, or play yard with a firm, flat, and non-inclined surface.
