Cravings aren’t a character flaw.
They’re a signal.
Sometimes they’re emotional.
Sometimes they’re neurological.
And very often… they’re metabolic.
When your blood sugar spikes and crashes, your body goes into protection mode.
Low blood sugar feels like stress.
And stress triggers urgency.
Your brain doesn’t say,
“Let’s choose a balanced meal.”
It says,
“Fix this. Fast.”
So you reach for sugar. Wine. Something quick.
Not because you lack discipline.
Because your system is dysregulated.
The woman you’re becoming doesn’t shame the craving.
She asks:
Is this emotional?
Or is my blood sugar unstable?
Or am I running on stress?
She stabilizes first.
She regulates first.
Then she chooses.
And when your energy is steady and your nervous system feels safe, cravings lose their intensity.
This is where identity shifts.
Not from forcing.
From understanding.
If this resonates, tell me, when do your cravings show up most? Late afternoon? After dinner? During stress?
Awareness is where power begins.
