I know you want to feel strong and build muscle.
But if pain, or the fear of pain, keeps getting in the way, I want you to know there is a smarter place to start.
When I teach strength training, it is not about pushing harder or grinding through workouts. It is about moving intelligently. I teach you what to do, how to do it safely, and why it matters, so you can feel confident lifting for the rest of your life.
Today I want to talk about breathing.
We breathe around 28,000 times a day, usually without thinking about it. But how you breathe matters more than most people realize. If your breath is out of rhythm, if you are holding your breath, bracing constantly, or breathing high into your chest instead of into your diaphragm, it often shows up as tension or pain in the body.
When someone walks into a gym and adds weight and repetitions without understanding their breath or movement patterns, they often reinforce dysfunction instead of building strength. Over time, that can lead to pain in the neck, shoulders, jaw, low back, or hips.
Try what I show in this video at home for five or six slow breaths. Take your time. Notice what changes. Many people feel less tension almost immediately.
Comment below and tell me what you notice in your body. I would love to hear.
