Today's Myth: You can restart someone's heart by hitting them.

Truth: Nope! Those precordial thumps your see on TV very rarely work. It can only be used in hospital settings when cardiac arrest is witness and the heart rhythm can be monitored. Instead call for help and an AED and perform CPR. Push hard and fast in the center of the chest!
