After much prayer and discernment, Bravely is entering a new season.

We’re refining our focus to reach more women in crisis, continuing to offer Christ-led, life-affirming care — free of charge — while discontinuing a few services that are no longer sustainable, including:

▪️NaPro Technology
▪️Prenatal Care
▪️Pediatric Care

Important for current patients:

▪️Bravely will continue supporting you through a smooth and compassionate transition of care.
▪️Ongoing appointments will be honored, and our team will reach out to assist with rescheduling, cancellations, or transferring care.
▪️New patients in these programs will no longer be accepted.
▪️The midwifery/homebirth program will continue through April 2026 for patients already scheduled as communicated earlier this year.

Bravely’s wrap-around support includes tangible help like free diapers, wipes, and baby clothes to make sure no mom has to choose between paying a bill or keeping her baby dry. 💛🐝

🐝 It's time to give a big shoutout to our AMAZING October Volunteer Spotlight, Karen! 🎉

After retiring in 2020 to help care for her granddaughter a few days a week, Karen began looking for a place to volunteer to bring some structure back to her schedule. She was used to working 40 hours a week and wanted to keep serving with purpose.

That search led her to Bravely Women’s Health, where she now serves as the Director of the Clothing Room. Karen loves sorting and organizing donations and helping moms find the items they need. “It’s great to work with a team of believers who show God’s love to women facing challenges in their lives,” she shares.

Outside of Bravely, Karen attends Connection Point Church in West Lafayette and helps with the 4-year-old classroom several times a year. She enjoys taking walks and reading in her spare time.

Karen has been married for 50½ years, has two grown daughters, and three grandchildren.

✨ Mattress Bonanza #2! ✨

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Tempur-Sealy, we hosted our second Mattress Bonanza, providing 30 full and queen mattress sets to families in need. 🛏💛

Bravely gathered a list of clients in need of mattresses and coordinated with volunteers and community partners to ensure each set was delivered directly to their homes. 🚚💪

A huge thank you to Two Men and a Truck for storage and staging, and to volunteers from Riverside Construction, PuroClean, Shane’s Cabinet & Flooring, and all our Bravely supporters — your time, vehicles, and strength made this life-changing impact possible!

“This was truly a community effort,” said Jaime, our Director of Social Services. “To see local businesses and individuals come together — donating their time, vehicles, and strength — it’s inspiring. Thirty families now rest a little easier, and that can change everything.”

The difference was felt deeply by the families who received them:

💬 “I’m 31 weeks pregnant and have had the same mattress since high school. Now I can finally get a good night’s sleep.”
💬 “My daughter has been on a used mattress for years. This was such a huge blessing — I never saw it coming.”
💬 “Our old mattress caved in whenever we both slept on it. My husband had been sleeping on the floor. Receiving this new mattress has truly changed our lives.”

Every person has a gift to serve others for the Kingdom — what a blessing to see it in action! 🙌💛

No woman should walk through loss alone. 💜

This October, during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, we honor women who have experienced miscarriage. Too often, these losses are hidden, leaving mothers to grieve quietly.

At Bravely, that’s not the end of her story. She is met with compassion, care, and understanding. Every woman in our care who experiences miscarriage receives a Held in Hope Box — filled with items that serve as little reminders that she is not alone and her loss matters.

She can also find answers through NaPro Technology, which offers hope even after just one miscarriage.

A beautiful new chapter is unfolding for our midwifery team. 💕

Beginning April 30, 2026, Bravely Women’s Health will transition away from offering homebirth services as our midwives, Sherah Albright and Cathy Binger, open their own midwifery practice.

We are so proud of Sherah and Cathy and the way they’ve served women with compassion, excellence, and love. Bravely will continue to refer women seeking homebirth care to them—and current midwifery clients will continue receiving care and support from Bravely as usual.

Bravely continues to provide life-affirming healthcare for women and families, including:

🐝Brooke Pletcher, MD – NaPro technology, prenatal care, and pediatric care
🐝Noelle Lottes, CPNP, CFNP – pediatric care for children and families
🐝Jonni Miller, RN – fertility education and support through FEMM

We will no longer be able to accept new midwifery patients with due dates past May 1, 2026.

We’re grateful for your continued trust and excited to see how God will grow midwifery care in our community through this new season.
