Her mom, Leona, lost her job caring for Lily through her hospitalization and appointments and is now facing eviction. Through Bravely’s Every Mother’s Advocate (ĒMA) program, we are walking with them — but they urgently need help.

The Leadership Academy is hosting a Donation Drive for Bravely Womens Health. Collecting Diapers(sizes 4,5,and 6 mostly), Wipes, Blankets, and Gift Cards for those in need. 🐝 It's time to give a big shoutout to our LOVELY February Volunteer Spotlight, Lori! 🎉

Lori and her husband have been married for over four decades and started as high school sweethearts. The Lord blessed them with their children whom they homeschooled and who are now grown and have families of their own. Now they're enjoying the blessings of each and every grandchild and visit them as often as they can.

God has grown hearts in them to serve the vulnerable and after Lori graduated her last student, she began working or volunteering in ways to help this population flourish. Because mothering was so impactful in her own life, Lori has been drawn to working with families—especially mothers.

In early 2023, Lori explored ways to become involved with Bravely and found that serving as an Advocate in the EMA program allowed her to come alongside other mothers as they try to navigate raising their own children. She looks forward to continue serving in the EMA program and in other Bravely programs so that mommas can be strengthened and encouraged.

Thank you, Lori! Your strength, encouragement, and passion are impacting mothers in ways we can’t even imagine. ❤

We are so grateful for the time, effort, and generosity poured into this recent Diaper & Wipes Drive. 💛

Behind every donation was someone who showed up, organized, gave, collected, sorted, and delivered. That faithfulness will make a huge impact for the moms and babies we serve.

Diapers and wipes may seem simple, but for a woman navigating an unexpected pregnancy or a difficult season, they remove real financial pressure and remind her she’s not alone.

Thank you University Lutheran Church at Purdue University for helping create a community where families are supported in tangible, life-affirming ways. 🐝

🐝 It's time to give a big shoutout to our SWEET January Volunteer Spotlight, Alisha! 🎉

Alisha began volunteering at Bravely after feeling drawn to the organization’s mission and the impact it has on the community. She saw Bravely as an opportunity to support others while also growing personally.

Outside of volunteering at Bravely, she enjoys spending time on reading and spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about her is that she has written many books but has not been published.

Her favorite part about volunteering at Bravely is the people, both the team and those they serve. She loves being a part of an environment that is supportive and caring. Seeing the positive difference Bravely makes is what motivates her to come back. One of her favorite memories from volunteering is hosting an EMA party for the moms and kids.
