Today, James reached a powerful milestone- completing his final treatment and ringing the bell to mark the end of this journey. James embodies the very definition of perseverance, and we are truly proud to call him our brother.

Romans 5:3-4
"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, character; and character, hope."

This is His Place. Where broken men find healing, rebuild their identity, and grow into faithful followers of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

I hope to encourage this morning as I was reading Genesis 8 v 1 stuck out( but God remember Noah)

Sometimes in life the floodwaters seem never ending it's one thing after another and sometimes I've been in situations and wondered if God sees and hears me

If we are honest we have all been there I want to encourage you it may seem like you have been out in the waters for months surrounded by nothing.

How often does the floodwaters of life seem to be drowning out our Hope and Faith.?

Just as God remembered Noah God remembers you and me take herat that God is already shifting the tides making a way through the obstacles.

Remember God has to bring us through deep waters for depencey on Him he alone as Matthew Henry says he keeps our head above the billows
If our feet is constantly on the shores we begin to trust in ourselves more than Him

Surrender your fear surrender your obstacles trust even when you can't see it He Remembers You

Working side by side doing some tree work and cleaning up around the property for someone It may look like simple labor to some, but this is part of what God is doing at His Place.
These men are learning that faithful hands and willing hearts matter. Every limb cut, every pile cleared, every drop of sweat is a reminder that God is also clearing the broken places in our lives.

The Gospel changes more than where we spend eternity—it changes how we live today. The same men who once tore things down in their lives are now learning to build, serve, and take responsibility

"Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good..." — Ephesians 4:28

This is what we do at His Place. We work, we grow, and we watch God turn broken stories into testimonies.

Some pictures preach a sermon without saying a word.

This moment captures a man who once walked a broken road, now standing at the foot of the cross—learning what it means to be a father, a leader, and a godly man.

Jason Disckril’s life is a testimony that Jesus still changes lives.
The past no longer defines him; the cross does.

Today he is not the man he used to be. He is a man learning to lead his family, love his children, and follow Christ.

That’s what redemption looks like. That’s what grace can do. ✝️
