If you just turned 65 but are still working, make sure you know when to sign up for Medicare. In most cases, if you’re over 65 & have employer coverage, you don't need to do anything until you retire or lose that coverage. But it depends on your situation!

Medicare (Annual Election Period - AEP: October 15 - December 7)
* If you missed the AEP, your current Medicare plan is likely to automatically renew.

* The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (MAOEP) from January 1 to March 31 allows those in a Medicare Advantage plan to switch plans or return to Original Medicare.

* Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs) may be available due to qualifying life events like moving or losing coverage.

* The General Enrollment Period (GEP) runs from January 1 to March 31 for those who missed their initial Part A and/or Part B enrollment, though late penalties may apply and coverage starts July 1.

* Review your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) for 2026
