Sometimes life reminds us to pause.
Lately, I’ve been pulled in many directions, between work, responsibilities, and simply being human. On top of that, I’ve been sick for the last couple of weeks, and my body made it very clear that it was time to slow down.
Yesterday was the first day since being sick that I was able to step back into my yoga practice, and I enjoyed it more than ever. I was completely grateful just to touch the grass barefoot again, to look up at the sky, to breathe in the fresh air, and feel the trees around me as I moved through my asanas.
That moment reminded me that it’s okay to pause. It’s okay to step away, to rest, to reset. The world won’t fall apart if you take time to care for yourself; in fact, everything feels a little clearer and softer when you do. 🌿
So if you’ve been feeling stretched thin lately, this is your sign: rest isn’t a setback. It’s part of the process, and when you return, you might just find even more gratitude waiting for you.
