LET’S TALK SUNBURNS

You know one of my favorite old-fashioned tricks for a sunburn? Believe it or not, canned evaporated milk. I know it sounds a little funny, but it works like a charm.

Here’s the deal: when your skin gets burned, it’s dry, tight, and screaming for relief. Evaporated milk is full of natural proteins and fats that actually coat the skin and give it a nice soothing layer. It sort of acts like a protective blanket that helps calm down the sting. Plus, if you chill the can in the fridge first, that coolness feels so good on hot, irritated skin.

All you have to do is pour a little into a bowl, soak a soft washcloth in it, and then lay the cloth gently over the sunburn. Leave it there for about 15–20 minutes. OR GENTLY APPLY DIRECTLY TO BURN AND LET DRY. My mother always had us lay on a towel and she would just gently pour it over our sunburned skin. And I will tell you it felt so good. The cooling and relief sensation is immediate. And you just lie there until the Milk dries and then you can go rinse off in a cool bath which also feels amazing . The milk helps ease the heat, takes down some of the redness, and keeps your skin from drying out so badly.

Either way that you choose to try this remedy… Afterward, you can rinse off with cool water if you like, or just let it air dry. Then follow it up with something moisturizing, like aloe vera gel or a dab of coconut oil, to keep your skin happy while it heals.

It’s such a simple little kitchen remedy, but honestly, it makes a world of difference when you’ve had too much sun.

I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again and again and just pray that it sinks into some peoples minds. Herbs are medicine. They’re not to be taken willy-nilly. just because something says “plant based “ does not mean that it’s actually good for you, especially for the long term.
This product right here, I see many many people purchasing on a daily basis and sometimes several times a day. Some, up to 6 bottles a day. Each bottle is two doses, but most people drink the whole thing in one shot.
If you’ve never had this product before, please do not start. It’s highly addictive and it contains Kratom, which is the plant equivalent of an opioid that is the equivalent to morphine and he**in. And at almost $10 for a two dose bottle. It’s quite an expensive addiction.
Please do your research before taking any
“Plant based” product, especially an energy boosting or mood enhancing product.
My recommendation for a good, non addictive alternative would be Yerba Mate tea.
