Local Laguna Beach artist, Brynne Cogorno, has been creating art all her life. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2007, where she received her bachelor of fine arts in painting & drawing. Backward Prints was founded in Laguna Beach, CA in August 2008, with all intentions of reminding people to smile and laugh. Cogorno shows love for life and attention for our planet through her beautiful handmade notes. Cogorno started screen printing about 4 years ago, and has fallen in love with the medium. She continues to illustrate all of her designs in her studio, and hand prints each garment. If you are interested in learning how to screen print, you can sign up for one of Ms. Cogorno’s classes offered through the Sawdust Art Festival. When Brynne isn’t working, she is off in the hills hiking, or practicing yoga. She became a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2013.
