Local Laguna Beach artist, Brynne Cogorno, has been creating art all her life. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2007, where she received her bachelor of fine arts in painting & drawing. Backward Prints was founded in Laguna Beach, CA in August 2008, with all intentions of reminding people to smile and laugh. Cogorno shows love for life and attention for our planet through her beaut

iful handmade notes. Cogorno started screen printing about 4 years ago, and has fallen in love with the medium. She continues to illustrate all of her designs in her studio, and hand prints each garment. If you are interested in learning how to screen print, you can sign up for one of Ms. Cogorno’s classes offered through the Sawdust Art Festival. When Brynne isn’t working, she is off in the hills hiking, or practicing yoga. She became a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2013.

She's perfect!!! Strawberry queen travel coffee mug! This piece is so special because I hand mixed reclaim clay with purple mason stain to make purple clay. I layered the purple clay with my regular clay and when I threw it created a marble effect!

I'm going to be painting a lot more strawberry coffee mugs to sell this summer. I'm in love with this fruit. That and lemons.... 🍋

I only had a handful of pieces fired recently. I still have so much painting to do. My friends doing another glaze firing in a few weeks so if I time it right I'll have about 25 mugs by mid May. And I'm continuing to make more pieces so I'll have another little collection coming out in June.

And.. the mini mug key chains. My goal is to have 50 + of them.

I hope you're getting excited like I am to share these with you. Stay tuned, I promise to share my work here first. And then sell everything at my booth at the this summer.

Truly Pizza we're happy to have you in Laguna. What a beautiful transformation you did of the space and I haven't had such a decadent and lovely meal like I did tonight in such a long time. You put so much care & attention to detail in everything you do. Your pizzas were like nothing I've ever had. Hints of pizza I've tried in Italy and New York, but I can tell it's Truly your own invention and creation. My Italian grandmother would have been proud. I can't wait to return and bring worlds cutest french bulldog after all pizza crust is his favorite. I always save a piece for him :)
