Tragically last night, The Arizona Department of Public Safety Ranger 56 helicopter based out if Kingman, AZ was assisting Flagstaff Police Department with an active shooter type situation.

During the mission, the AZDPS helicopter crashed, killing both troopers.

Ranger 56 and its crew worked directly with many of our members regularly. Although these troopers wear a different badge, they were like family.

Please pray for the brave souls and their families.

Rest in peace brothers. We’ll take it from here.

CHILD EXPLOITATION ARRESTS- BULLHEAD CITY

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies and non-governmental organizations, successfully conducted a targeted operation on January 30-31 to identify and apprehend adult online predators seeking to engage in illicit activities with minors in the Bullhead City area. This operation was designed to prevent and deter crimes against children while ensuring the safety of our community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our law enforcement partners who played a crucial role in this enforcement detail, including Bullhead City Police Department, Lake Havasu City - Municipal Government Police Department, La Paz County Sheriff's Office, Chandler Police Department, City of Mesa Police Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Red Wing Police Department (Minnesota), and the Mohave County Attorney's Office. We also appreciate the support of Darkhorse Benefits, and the Arizona Anti-Trafficking Network.

Through this coordinated effort, law enforcement arrested nine individuals for a total of fourteen felony charges related to s*xual offenses. Additionally, one suspect was charged with taking the identity of another and theft of a credit card.

The following individuals were arrested for the listed charges and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman:
-Lucas Daniel Robbinson, 45 of Bullhead City: Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation, Attempted S*xual Conduct with a Minor
-William Noble Hall, 51 of Bullhead City: Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation
-Ryan Tanner Carpenter, 28 of Bullhead City: Child S*x Trafficking, Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation
-Steven Joseph Monte, 67 of Mohave Valley: Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation
-Jessi Anthony Rubi, 42 of Bullhead City: Child S*x Trafficking
-Brandon Torres, 22 of Bullhead City: Child S*x Trafficking, Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation,
-Carlos Calhoun, 49 of Bullhead City: Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation, Taking Identity of another, Theft of Credit Card
-Jason Bryan Proctor, 48 of Bullhead City (previously registered s*x offender): Child S*x Trafficking, Luring Minor For S*xual Exploitation
-Austin Ray Rogers, 31 of Laughlin: Child S*x Trafficking, Luring Minor for S*xual Exploitation

The individuals arrested in this operation had arranged to meet up with what they believed were children fifteen years and younger for s*xual related activities. The s*xual exploitation of children remains a pressing concern throughout Mohave County. These arrests underscore the importance of vigilance and proactive involvement in children’s online activities. We urge parents and caregivers to take an active role in safeguarding their children from online predators. By staying informed, asking questions, and utilizing available child protection resources, we can work together to create a safer environment for our youth.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office will continue to innovate, adapt and dedicate ourselves in this crucial fight to find those who seek to harm children.
