As our practice continues to grow and evolve, we want to share a few important updates and reminders with all of our patients.
Jamie’s Maternity Leave
Jamie will soon be taking maternity leave as she welcomes her new baby! During this time, Helen will be covering all patients for the practice to ensure everyone continues to receive consistent, high-quality care. We are so excited for Jamie and her family, and our entire team will be working together to make sure her patients are fully supported while she is away.
Medication Checks & Refill Policy
All medication checks will be scheduled as virtual visits unless otherwise specified by Helen. Please plan ahead for refills - requests should be submitted at least one week before you run out to allow time for provider review, pharmacy communication, and insurance processing. Requests are reviewed during business hours only and may take up to 72 business hours once received, depending on provider availability.
Meet Our Team
We have expanded our support staff to keep things running smoothly and efficiently:
• Joshua, a registered nurse, and our Virtual Assistant, helps manage phone calls, voicemails, and patient messages. If you hear from him, yes, he is part of our trusted CFW team.
• Marie-Claire, our dual-role Medical Receptionist and Medical Assistant, continues to handle scheduling, intake, and assisting with patient care.
• Erika, our Medical Receptionist, helps with front desk communication, scheduling, and day-to-day patient coordination.
• Sonia, our Phlebotomist, continues to handle lab draws and coordination.
• Haley, who previously worked with CFW from July to November 2024, has rejoined our team as of today! We are thrilled to welcome her back home to Complete Family Wellness.
Communication & Turnaround Times
We know delays can be frustrating, and we want to reassure you that no message goes ignored. Our team communicates constantly behind the scenes, but we do not reach out until there is actual information or an update to share.
Here is what you can expect for response times (please allow an extra 24-48 business hours during this transition period):
• Portal messages: 3-5 business days
• Prescription refills: up to 72 business hours once received (submit at least one week before needed)
• Prior authorizations: 10-14 business days, depending on insurance response times
• Lab results: 5-7 business days from when results are received and reviewed by your provider
