Immediate part-time opportunity in Lakeland! ✨

We’ve been notified of an immediate PT Cafeteria Assistant opening at a Lakeland charter school.
This role is a great fit for someone with at least one year of kitchen experience who enjoys working in a school environment and has a heart for hospitality. There is room to grow within the organization for the right candidate.

Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Schedule: Follows the Polk County Public Schools calendar
Off when kids are off
Off on early release dates
Pay: $15/hour (up to $16/hour)

Six years ago, Help(her) was built on a simple idea: no one should have to do it all alone.

Today, we’re celebrating 6 years of service, support, and showing up for our community in ways both big and small. From everyday errands to life’s busiest seasons, it’s been an honor to walk alongside so many incredible women, families, and businesses.

Grateful for the Help(her)s who give their hearts, the Members who trust us, and the community that continues to grow with us.

This photo was taken when I was honored with the Mayor’s CityMaker Award, and it’s a moment I’ll always hold close. Not because of the plaque, but because of what it represents — a deep love for this community and a calling to serve people in meaningful, everyday ways.

Help(her) was built from that same heart. It’s always been about showing up, creating opportunities, and making life feel a little lighter for others. Standing beside my husband that day, I felt incredibly grateful for the support, the journey, and the chance to do work that truly matters.
