The holidays can be an emotional time when we’re missing loved ones in Spirit, and I’ve learned the best way to honor them is by doing the things that remind us they’re still with us. This year, I spent the day making pies in the same kitchen I grew up baking in with my grandma. I felt her energy with me the whole time, right down to hearing her say she would’ve preferred I grease the pan with Crisco… but that butter will do.
