🍌 Ancestral bananas.
Most people in the United States have never seen a banana with seeds.
The bananas we buy in grocery stores are seedless and grown by cloning the plant rather than planting seeds.
But ancestral bananas look more like this—filled with hard seeds and able to reproduce naturally. 🙏🏽
What we eat today is the result of thousands of years of human selection.
