The Restoration Project (TRP) is a new national initiative ensuring babies who lose their mothers to pregnancy-related deaths still get the nourishment of human milk. 🍼💙

A partnership between HMBANA and Kimberly Seals Allers, TRP builds a network to deliver donor milk to vulnerable infants — giving them the best first food and compassionate care.

The Restoration Project (TRP) is an innovative national response mechanism that addresses the nutritional needs of newborns who have lost their mothers due to pregnancy-related deaths.

Today I had the honor of speaking with staff in recognition of Breastfeeding Month at our local WIC office. 💜 I shared a little bit about my journey into breastfeeding and the work I’m doing locally with the YWCA through our Postpartum Support Group. I was also able to highlight my 9–5 role and the services we offer, exploring how we can partner together to better support our families.

It was such a powerful discussion on the benefits of breastfeeding, the importance of dual support, and how we, as a community, can best support families on their feeding journeys. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to connect, share, and learn alongside such a dedicated team. 🤱🏽✨

August is World Breastfeeding Month 🤱🏽💛

My journey as a lactation provider began with the birth of my little girl. Breastfeeding her wasn’t easy, it came with its own challenges, doubts, and tears. But having the right support made all the difference. It helped me reach my personal feeding goals, and that experience planted the seed for the work I do today.

To all the mamas out there:
Do what works best for you and your baby. Your journey is yours to write. Whether it’s breast, bottle, combo, or formula. There’s no one-size-fits-all.

If you ever need support, guidance, or just someone to talk things through with please don’t hesitate to reach out. You’re not alone in this. 💕
