Oh how I've missed my walks!

This morning I decided it was time to get out and start walking again now that the weather is nice.

We went for a walk down by the river, it was so pretty and the girls had a blast running and jumping and racing daddy back to the truck.

The fresh air and sunshine was definitely something I needed today! The past few days have held their share of stress and being out in God's creation was just what I needed!

Have you read about the Proverbs 31 woman?

She and I used to not be friends. She was perfect at all things and every time I read about her, I felt I was lacking.

Then, I realized she didn't do all those things in her own strength. She wasn't perfect.

Her faith and trust in God got her through each day and helped her achieve all that she did.

I can have what she has. Not in my own strength, but in His strength.

Each day, I get closer to being like her. I'm trusting a little more, leaning a little harder and giving Him more so my load is lighter.

When my load is lighter, I can take better care of me, my family, my house, my business and my community.

We got some amazing venison loin from a friend, so I grabbed some wine and oils and whipped up a marinade!

I used about a cup of dry red wine, I totally didn't measure 😊 and then two drops each of Rosemary, Basil, Thyme and Black Pepper essential oils. I also added about a tablespoon of minced garlic.

The best part about using the oils instead of the spices themselves is that you don't have pieces of herbs all over your meat!

Most of the family thought it was delicious, one child decided she needed ketchup to dip it in 🙄

Don't forget, only cook with oils that have the supplement facts on them! They are safe to ingest.

Anyone need and Energy Boost? 🦸

Mito 2 Max is the second supplement I'm using to help with daytime fatigue.

Mito 2 Max is doTERRA's Energy and Stamina Complex. It has no harmful stimulants (this mama CANNOT do caffeine!) and supports healthy cellular energy production.

Basically, it gives me the extra energy I need to get through my day without the lift and crash some products can give you.

Sleep 😴

When you're getting enough of it, you really don't think much about it 🤔

But when sleep is illusive, it can make your day a marathon.

Sleep and I have not been good friends lately 😞 I've been tired during the day and restless at night.

My oils have been helping, but I still needed something more.

Last night I used the doTERRA Serenity soft gels and I definitely had a more restful night's sleep. I wasn't tossing and turning and I didn't feel tired when I woke up.

You can also take the Serenity soft gels during the day to help calm anxious feelings.

Morphine Bomb!! 💣

This morning I woke up with so much pain in my back. The pain is honestly what woke me up.

I had a lot to do today and no time for my back to slow me down!
I put on some Deep Blue Rub, but still needed a little extra help to control the pain.

I put two drops each of Frankincense, Marjoram, Lemongrass and Copaiba in a veggie cap and took it with breakfast.

About a half hour later all my pain and discomfort was gone!

Spring is arriving! 🌺

My front tree has started to bud and with it comes pollen and seasonal threats!

To combat these threats of nature, I like to use some more nature:

Essential Oils!

Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint are great tools for combating seasonal threats.

You can take one drop of each in a capsule, or put one drop of each on your feet morning and evening.

doTERRA's also made taking these three oils internally easier by creating TriEase Soft Gels. They're convenient little soft gels filled with Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint.

At night try diffusing Breathe and Lavender for a restful night's sleep.

Forgiveness is hard. It's also a process, a long one.

Sometimes we need a little help along the way to release the anger and the pain.

Christian counseling (there's totally a difference) is an amazing tool that has helped me process so many things.

But, my counselor isn't with me every day. So on those days when I'm in need of help and I'm by myself, Forgive is a gentle helper.

It helps me process and it helps me calm down and reground myself in the truth.

It also smells like a walk through the woods and nature is totally God's therapeutic gift to us.

Do you ever struggle to believe you can??

As all of this crazy Covid stuff drags on, I have to fight to keep believing that I can.

I can keep movingn past my past

I can keep teaching my girls the Truth

I can keep smiling while things spin out of control

I can keep believing that God has a plan, a good plan, a plan to prosper me and not to harm me

I can keep putting one foot in front of the other and helping those in need

I can keep putting love and kindness first

I CAN because Jesus is with me wherever I go. He gives me strength and He loves me.

Signs of Spring! 🌷

The snow has started to melt and my Spring flowers are starting to peak out from under the mulch and leaves.

I love Spring and all the signs of new life!

I love those Spring days when you wake up and seems that overnight the leaves and flowers have sprung up out of nowhere!

I can't wait to get in my gardens and see which one I will redo this year.

This is our 6th Spring in our house and I'm still working on redoing all of the flower beds. They were a hot overgrown mess when we moved in and I've been slowly turning them into low maintenance perennial beds.

Spring also means baby chicks 🐣 and I love baby chicks!

My favorite cleaner for everything in the house:

OnGuard Cleaner Concentrate!

Why is it my favorite??

It works amazingly well on all surfaces
It's cheap, 2T makes an entire spray bottle full of cleaner!
It smells awesome
It kills the germs
It's safe for my kids to use!!!

My favorite part about this label is the back where it says "If swallowed, drink a glass of water". Most cleaners tell you to call poison control!

I love that my kids can safely use OnGuard Cleaner Concentrate, because this mama does not clean all the things by herself!!

My kids love to clean the toilets with it 🤷
Seriously, they fight over who gets to clean the toilet. It does a fantastic job getting off all the grossness.

You can't get much better than safe, effective and cheap. 😊
