Just heard the words "Sunny Side Up" at your last appointment? ☀️ Don’t panic.
Hearing that your baby is in a posterior position can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been told it means a "harder" labor.
Often, a posterior baby is simply reacting to the space available. If the pelvis is slightly tilted or the uterine ligaments are tight (what we call Uterine Constraint), the baby doesn't have the symmetric room they need to make the turn.
How we help:
Using the Webster Technique, we don’t "turn" the baby. Instead, we balance the pelvis and sacrum to relax those tight ligaments. When we fix the "room," the baby often chooses the best position (Occiput Anterior) all on their own! ⚖️✨
The goal isn't just a head-down baby it's a balanced mom.
