Some stories deserve to be shared far and wide—and this is one of them 🫶🏻

Our nurse practitioner, Josh, is not only an incredible provider and colleague, but also an inspiring father. His son endured an intrauterine surgery at just 23 weeks gestation and was born with spina bifida; a condition that has brought many challenges, and immeasurable strength into their lives.

Now, Josh is taking that strength one step further—by running the NYC Marathon. 🏃‍♂️ He’s not just running for the finish line; he’s running to raise awareness and support for children and families affected by spina bifida. Every mile he trains for and every step he takes on race day is fueled by his son, Nico.

At Pine Point Medical, we’re proud to offer specialized care for our pregnant and postpartum patients — and our athletic trainer Sarah is here to help every step of the way! 🤰

Sarah is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and recovery after childbirth. She wants to see all Pine Point Medical patients who are currently pregnant or recently postpartum to help with things like:

✨ Safe movement and exercise during pregnancy
✨ Core and pelvic stability
✨ Recovery after delivery
✨ Back, hip, and pelvic pain
✨ Returning to activity and exercise safely

Your body goes through incredible changes during pregnancy and postpartum, and having the right support can make a huge difference in how you feel and recover.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve on our medical mission trip to Ecuador this week. 🇪🇨 ✈️🌟

Together, our team cared for over 300 patients, providing medical treatment, support, and compassion to individuals and families with limited access to care. Each patient reminded us why this work matters and that small acts can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged this mission. We are proud of what our team accomplished together and honored to have been part of something bigger than ourselves 🙌🏻

Josh has been a board-certified FNP since 2011 and brings a wide range of experience in family and hospital-based care. His background spans critical care, hospital medicine, neurology, and urology, with a strong commitment to thoughtful, patient-centered care.
