March is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and today I’m sharing something deeply personal.
In 2019, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and it changed the way I live my life. The journey reshaped my perspective, my purpose, and my voice. Instead of letting fear silence me, I chose to speak louder — not just for myself, but for others walking a similar path.
That’s why I founded and established Disorderly Charms®.
A space to advocate.
A space to create.
A space to share my story so no one feels alone in theirs.
At Disorderly Charms®, we believe in using our platform to uplift voices, spread awareness, and remind our community that strength comes in many forms.
🩶 Gray is the color of awareness.
🧠 Knowledge is power.
💛 Compassion is action.
To everyone affected by a brain tumor — fighters, survivors, caregivers, and families — I stand with you. Your story matters, and together, we shine brighter.

January is recognized as Mental Wellness Month, focusing on self-care, stress reduction (especially post-holidays), and building healthy habits for the new year, distinct from the broader Mental Health Awareness Month in May. It encourages proactive steps like exercise, healthy eating, and good sleep, linking emotional and physical health to start the New Year.

December is a time to raise awareness for Seasonal Affective Disorder a type of depression often linked to shorter days and colder weather. Symptoms can include oversleeping, increased appetite, feelings of sadness, and low energy.

To help reduce some of these symptoms:
Light therapy (exposure to bright light can help regulate mood.
Regular Exercise can improve mood.
The company you keep (positive energy and good vibes)
Eat a balanced diet, nutritious food can support both physical and mental health.

Just remember Winter is a season that comes and goes, it's not forever and it shouldn't define your mood or happiness. Stay active, enjoy life, and remember our time here on earth is about growth. Focusing on knowing, glorifying, and making the most of every opportunity to serve God, and love others. My World 🥰🥰
